We’re Hiring: Controls & Electrical Manager Are you an experienced Controls & Electrical professional ready to take ownership of projects and lead from the front? We’re looking for a proactive and driven Controls & Electrical Manager to join our engineering team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-impact projects across multiple industries. T he Role You’ll lead all controls and electrical aspects across a diverse project portfolio, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical water systems and associated equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, project management, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of control systems (FDS, SDS, HDS, FAT, SAT) Oversee electrical design outputs (schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts) Manage PLC, HMI, and SCADA software development Support tenders, quotations, and subcontractor engagement Attend and contribute to technical meetings Assist with commissioning activities (FAT/SAT) Conduct site surveys and manage electrical work scopes Take full technical and commercial responsibility for C&I elements Manage cost control and define project scope What We’re Looking For Strong background in electrical engineering Experience with Siemens PLCs (advantageous) Knowledge of BS 7671 / IEE regulations Experience with CAD and electrical design tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, hands-on approach with leadership capability
