Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to support their busy workshop, offering excellent career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.
What's On Offer?
1. Competitive basic salary up to £40,000, flexible based on experience and skills
2. Overtime payable at time and a half, available occasionally
3. Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm, with a Saturday rota (1 in 2) from 8.00am to 1.00pm.
4. Holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays

Duties for the Vehicle Technician will include:
7. Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on various makes and models, predominantly German brands
8. Diagnose electronic and electrical systems to identify faults
9. Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and repair electronic systems
10. Maintain detailed repair reports and communicate effectively with team members
11. Keep the workshop environment clean and organised
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
12. Technical skills such as understanding wiring diagrams and diagnosing electronic systems
13. Previous experience working on a variety of vehicles, with a good mechanical foundation
14. Licence to drive full UK vehicles
15. Willingness to work independently, think critically, and take initiative
16. Relevant qualifications, recent training, or industry recognised certifications preferred
17. Knowledge of German vehicles is advantageous but not essential
18. Strong problem-solving skills and a driven attitude
