Site Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor
Carrowhugh recruitment is currently recruiting for a site engineer to work on a large battery storage plant in Bridgewater, Somerset. This project is due to run until December 2026. The Sub-Structure specialist company have been established over 40 Years and take onProject's ranging in value from £5 million to £70 million.
The successfulcandidate will have 3+ years of dealing with similar Groundwork & RC Frame contractor type works and be extremely confident in their ability to set out.
There is also a promise of more work for the right candidates as the company have a lot more up and coming projects.
The Site Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor will also assist with the management of :
-Request for Information(RFI)
- Supply of Information
- Rebar + Precast
Other Key responsibilities of the Site Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor :
Setting Out groundworks & structural Use of GPS, total station & automatic levels
Coordinating site drawings
Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolves technical issues
Record keeping and reporting
Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
Specific Requirements of theSite Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor
Relevant Third level Degree
3+ experience in a similar role
Previous Sub-Contractor experience
Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech)
Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential
Excellent IT skills knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
