Job Opportunity: Bid Coordinator – Construction & Civil Engineering Location: Motherwell, Scotland Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Sector: Construction & Civil Engineering Salary: Competitive, based on experience benefits About Us My client are a leading construction and civil engineering company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and building projects across Scotland and the UK. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic Pre-Construction Team based in our Motherwell office. The Role As Bid Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive bids and tenders. Working closely with the Estimating, Commercial, and Project Management teams, you will ensure deadlines are met and that submissions reflect the company's capabilities and values. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate and manage the end-to-end bid process for construction and civil engineering projects * Analyse tender documentation and client requirements * Liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants to gather technical and commercial input * Create compelling and well-structured written content for PQQs, ITTs, and supporting documentation * Ensure bid documents are fully compliant, formatted correctly, and submitted on time * Maintain a library of standard responses, CVs, case studies, and project information * Assist in post-tender clarifications and feedback reviews to support continuous improvement About You: * Proven experience in a similar Bid or Proposals role within the construction or civil engineering sector * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail * Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus * Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes * A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement What They Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career progression within a growing company * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Hybrid working options available (following probation) * Training and development opportunities Ready to Join Them?
