Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor looking to make a lasting impact on young people's lives? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Bexley that is seeking a skilled and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting immediately.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
1. Support students with behaviour and emotional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
2. Help implement strategies to improve engagement and promote positive choices
3. Assist teachers with managing behaviour in the classroom
4. Build strong, trusting relationships with students who need extra guidance
What we're looking for:
5. Previous experience working with children or young people (in schools, youth work, care, or similar settings)
6. A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach
7. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
8. Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role
