Key Responsibilities Manage a broad range of defence litigation matters, with a primary focus on RTA and PI claims. Handle cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met. Provide clear, strategic advice to clients on risks, options, and legal strategy; liaise effectively with insurers, opposing counsel, and clients. Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement correspondence. Represent clients at hearings and court proceedings where required. Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the firm's high standards of service and efficiency. Candidate Requirements Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland. Experience in defence litigation, ideally with exposure to RTA and PI matters. Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills. Commercially aware, with excellent communication and client-handling abilities. Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
