Job Overview
Typically, this person will lead and develop key European customer relationships by delivering a seamless sales experience and driving growth in line with the company’s strategic objectives. This role focuses on managing major accounts, developing new business, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and profitability.

HSB Technical’s client is an established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Work within a sales team and closely with the Sales Director to develop and execute detailed sales strategies across assigned regions and customer segments.
* Manage all aspects of pricing, quotations, and margin control to ensure commercial objectives are met.
* Conduct regular key customer business reviews to monitor satisfaction, performance, and future business opportunities.
* Develop a strong understanding of the marine industry, competitor landscape, and product range.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact.
* Coordinate with internal teams – design, production, logistics, and finance – to ensure projects run smoothly from order through to delivery and customer sign-off.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth targets.
* Prepare accurate market data and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
* Ensure clear and professional communication internally and externally, both written and verbal.
* Support technical sales meetings in person and via video calls.
* Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and client visits, including occasional international travel as required.
Skills Required
* Proven experience in B2B or OEM sales, ideally within the marine, automotive, or engineering sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, margin management, and forecasting.
* Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally when required.
* French or German speaking is preferable.
