About the Role
Location: Ellington Road, Ashington NE63 9XS
1. Salary: £13.39 per Hour
2. Working 45 Hours per week
3. Working Pattern: 2x Shift Pattern Rotating each week
4. Shift 1 - 07:00 am to 16:00 pm
5. Shift 2 - 09:00 am to 18:00 pm
6. Full PPE provided
What will I be doing?
7. Maintaining accurate records for the removal of material from the site and of all activities on the site.
8. Controlling the exchange of containers, by booking loads with the relevant person thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
9. Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
10. Undertaking first aider duties and fire warden duties on site
11. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role
What are the requirements?
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to obtain a full working understanding of the site licence / permit and who will work to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.
The role will require:
12. A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
13. The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation and maintenance of site equipment.
14. Having basic administration skills for the recording of data on SUEZ R & R UK’s reporting systems will also be advantageous.
15. Comply everywhere and in all circumstances with the laws and regulations connected with their activities.
