About the role
Downlands is a forward-thinking school based on an Army Camp with predominantly forces children.
We require a Childcare Worker to join our Early Years Base at Downlands School.
A passion for working with children is essential to join this dedicated and committed team working with children between the ages of 3 and 5 in our pre-school and FS2 class. This role is for 30.25 hours per week, from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday.
Experience in working with children with additional needs would be advantageous.
You will need to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the setting. Responsibilities include planning and implementing a suitable range of activities, arts and crafts, and maintaining records using Seesaw, an online portfolio.

The pro-rata salary shown is based on hours and weeks worked and includes paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
The salary quoted is the annual salary at the time of the advert. It will be paid in equal monthly installments and adjusted if leaving partway through the school year to reflect work completed.
This role is UK-based, and your Right to Work will need to be verified during the appointment process.
