Community Administrator (Part Time)

Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) has an exciting opportunity available

CUCF are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Community Administrator with high standards and strong work ethic on a part-time basis (20 hours per week/Flexible hours available).

This role within our Community Administration Team will include providing administrative and functional support to CUCF operations across the departments within the charity, through effective administration, monitoring and evaluation of communications, activity and programmes.

This position is a key appointment within the charity, as we look to strengthen our team, and you will require tenacity and the creativity to overcome obstacles and challenges presented when working within a charity and community environment. This alongside having a pivotal part to play in the effective administration of the charity's programmes supporting operational and strategic success.

This position is based out of The Shrub End Community & Sports Centre, Colchester, CO2 9BG with the following working days:

· Monday (Between 8am-5pm)

· Wednesday (Between 8am-5pm)

· Friday (Between 8am-5pm)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

* Substantial, demonstrable and relevant experience of office administration in a similar organisation or environment.
* Strong IT Skills particularly Microsoft Office programmes, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent numeracy skills.
* Excellent planning, time management, organisational, project management and accurate record-keeping skills.

· Ability to work within a team and demonstrate good people management and coaching skills to improve performance and encourage initiative within a busy environment.

· Good presentation skills.

* Willing to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
* Full UK Driving License.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

· NVQ/SVQ in Business and Administration, Levels 1-4 (Desirable)

· Understanding of the administrate functions in relation to community partnerships and programmes

· OCR Awards, Certificates and Diplomas in Administration, Levels 1-4 BTEC Level 3 Award & Certificate in Principles of Business & Administration

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop

* Develop positive and effective relationships and partnerships with colleagues, participants, players, parents/guardians within each community setting you work within.
* Develop individuals and groups of participants in a range of community environments, providing a safe and enjoyable space to develop and maximise their potential within national curriculum PE, PSHE, Literacy, Numeracy, football and sport.

Deliver

· Deliver excellent customer service in person, on the phone and within written communications to parents, participants and partners

· Deliver efficiency and creativity in completing daily operational administration tasks (email and phone communications, programme bookings, customer service, facility administration, vehicle fleet administration).

Support

* Support and contribute to the development of CUCF administration processes in line with the charity's strategy.
* Support programme leads with the administration and bookings of community programmes through our booking system.

Collaborate

* Collaborate with colleagues in maintaining high levels of parent, participant and partner interactions, in person on the phone and through written communications.
* Collaborate with SLT in highlighting challenges and successes relating to administration outcomes and developmental actions.

Evaluate

* Evaluate self and team performance and efficiency of administration tasks and outcomes on a weekly basis
* Evaluate and analyse programme booking data highlighting challenges and successes.
