 
        
        Overview
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested. The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
 * Assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
 * Support mobility and safe movement between dining areas, communal spaces, and private rooms as requested.
 * Participate in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

Shift Pattern
This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, 20 hours plus sickness and annual leave cover.
