About You

Responsibilities
* Care for residents’ physical, psychological and social needs, treating them as you would your own family.
* Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and helping with meals.
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in training; encourage and support staff in their development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities and follow safeguarding and whistle-blowing policies to protect adults in care.
* Provide evidence of any training completed.
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation; work in a safe environment.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
Qualifications
* Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or a care certificate. Training is provided, so these are desirable, not essential.
* Previous experience in a Care Home is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of leading a team.
* A committed and organised approach.
* Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
