The Role: We’re looking for a Junior QA Analyst to join our team to ensure that our product meet defined standards of quality, functionality, and performance before release. The role will be based out of our Lancaster office 2 days per week with 3 working from home. As a Junior QA Analyst, your work will have a direct impact on the quality of our products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Writing and reviewing Test Plans to ensure software quality is thoroughly assessed at every stage. Executing Test Plans, recording and analysing test results, and identifying any discrepancies or issues. Providing valuable feedback on the suitability of software for release, ensuring it meets all necessary requirements and standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support teams, to resolve defects and improve product quality. Assisting in the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies and processes, offering fresh perspectives and ideas. While prior experience in quality assurance and testing is not a necessity, any relevant experience will certainly be an advantage. The Skills you’ll need: A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field, or proven experience in a QA role within a SaaS (Software as a Service) business environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate excellent time management skills. A curious and inquisitive mindset, always eager to learn and improve processes.
