Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week - office based.Job description:Required to join our small HR Team at Board24, we are looking for a new HR Co-ordinator based at our Preston site. The ideal candidate will support the people strategy through the delivery of all HR administration, communication, well-being, learning and development activities.What will you get:Excellent development opportunities25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidaysCompany PensionDeath in service benefitCompany sick payEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption provisionEmployee referral schemeWellness programmesFree parkingKey responsibilities:Being the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, via the telephone or the HR Inbox, answer queries and provide basic practical advice to managers and employees in relation to policies and proceduresAdministering HR-related documentation, including as contracts of employment and changes to terms and conditions letterAdministration of HR process, including absence recordingAssist in recruitment and onboarding processes.Ensuring the HR system and employee records are all up to date and accurate.Assisting with ad hoc HR projects, including employee engagement surveys.Design and deliver the internal communications plan including a company quarterly newsletter, monthly updates, electronic boards and notice boardsIn conjunction with our PR Consultant, deliver recruitment and employer brand communications across all social media including the website Careers page, Facebook, Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedInSupport the organisation and co-ordination of all Learning & Development responsible by HR including the Leadership Development Program and Compliance TrainingUse and record Learning & Development activity in a suitable system (iHasco, Advanced)Support the Health & Wellbeing strategy by managing the agreed activity and communication plans which will assist colleagues to take charge of their own health and wellbeingDevelop a wide range of wellbeing information and resources, alongside targeted initiatives and events to promote health and wellbeing including collaboration with charity partnersManage Health & Wellbeing related employee benefits and discountsSupport the implementation of the People strategy as requiredCarry out colleagues duties during absenceKey skills:Basic knowledge of employment law and HR practicesExperience of working within a HR administration roleExperience and knowledge of Microsoft office packages and design software such as Adobe, Publisher and CanvaKnowledge and experience of social media platformsCreative written communication skillsGood English language skillsAttention to detailConfidentialityMore about us:Operating across three locations in England and Scotland, Board24 have been manufacturing corrugated sheet board for over 30 years.
