About Us:

We are a well-established local business supplying UPVC windows, doors and composite doors to the trade for over 50 years. Known for our friendly, reliable and knowledgeable service supplying high-quality products, we are recruiting a committed individual to bolster the team in a full time role.


Job Overview:

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused person to join our fast paced trade office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, processing orders, supporting trade collections and providing production information for our manufacturing team.

This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, problem solving, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.


Responsibilities

* Assist with in-person enquiries and handle incoming email enquiries and sales calls.
* Providing customers with knowledge and information on products and services.
* Prepare quotations using Evolution quoting software and writing out product order forms as specified.
* Corresponding with customers throughout the sales and order process in a timely manner.
* Preparing and completing relevant order and invoice paperwork as required.
* Assist customers with loading orders during trade collections.
* Sale and stocking of ancillary products
* Support the introduction of new products into the system.
* Book service calls and update the service diary.
* General office administration duties.


Requirements

* Experience in the fenestration industry or trade sales is desirable but not essential
* Competent IT Skills
* Good level of English & Maths
* Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word software's.
* Good communication skills; Ability to speak confidently with trade customers and colleagues.
* Strong attention to detail; Ensuring orders, quotes and paperwork are accurate.
* Problem Solving Ability; Able to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
* Good time management; Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Customer-focused; Provide a friendly, helpful service at all times.
* Organisational skills; keeps workflows, documentation and stock information tidy and up-to-date.
* Adaptability; Ability to handle varied tasks and respond to changing priorities during busy periods.
* Dependability; Reliable, punctual and able to manage responsibilities consistently.
