We are looking for a professional, confident Deputy Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) to lead, inspire and oversee the delivery of the highest quality care.
Working 38.5 hours a week, including shifts Monday‑Sunday on a rota basis, at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.

Job responsibilities
* Lead, inspire and oversee the delivery of the very best care on the 14‑bed Sunrise Ward, a specialised eating disorder service for women, including those with extremely low BMIs.
* Co‑ordinate all clinical aspects of the ward and ensure cooperation between clinical departments.
* Implement and enforce clinical and administrative policies, procedures and regulations.
* Ensure compliance with policies and regulations by staff.
* Support staff through debriefs, appraisals, training, meetings and development of evidence‑based practice.
* Lead by example to maintain consistently high standards of clinical care and documentation.
Qualifications & experience
* Qualified RMN / RNLD with a valid NMC pin number and at least 2 years of experience.
* Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision.
* Experience in an inpatient setting, preferably with eating disorders.
* Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives and motivating and developing others.
* Open, compassionate, honest and resilient.
* Capable of undertaking audits, developing and following up action plans.
* Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 and current nursing practices.
* Focused on safeguarding patient recovery, monitoring, managing and reducing risk.
