The children’s ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd provides care for acutely unwell children and for children being admitted for elective treatment and investigations. We provide care for children and young people between the ages of 0-18 years and their families, working as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to children/young people with support and supervision provided by a registered healthcare professional.
Key responsibilities
* Undertake personal care activities and tasks as delegated by a registered healthcare professional, in accordance with the HEIW AllWales Guidelines for Delegation.
* Ensure the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patient’s condition and improvement/deterioration.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the healthcare setting and appropriate storage of stock items.
* Deliver role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and the Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales.
