Job Description
We are looking for an EMC Test Technician to join our Military and Aerospace EMC team. This is a hands-on role preparing equipment, supporting test engineers, and conducting EMC tests in line with industry standards and internal procedures.
The role offers excellent development opportunities and is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, good attention to detail, and interest in defence and aerospace testing.
Core Responsibilities
* Set up and assist with EMC testing of electronic equipment.
* Operate test equipment under supervision.
* Accurately record measurements and observations.
* Prepare and maintain lab setups, equipment, and test environments.
* Follow internal procedures and contribute to lab housekeeping.
Skills / Qualifications
* Technical qualification (e.g. BTEC, HNC) in engineering or relevant experience in a testing or lab environment.
* Familiarity with test equipment and safety procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
