A leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer with a global client base is seeking a Commercial Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover contract. The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for raising invoices, credit control, and posting revenue and gross margin journals.
The role is based in East Oxford, OX4, with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days WFH per week).
Key Duties
1. Raising invoices from sales orders
2. Raising credit notes
3. Managing Accounts Receivable inbox
4. Cash collection and allocation
5. Month-end reconciliation of Sales Ledger
6. Raising and posting all revenues and gross margin journals
7. Collaborating with the Accounts Assistant and providing mentorship and coaching
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be process-driven, and possess strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
