We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Product Market Researcher to join a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to innovation and technical excellence.
In this brand-new role, you’ll uncover market opportunities, analyse industry trends, and provide the insight that powers new product ideas and commercial success. Responsibilities
* Lead in-depth qualitative and quantitative market research projects across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East
* Track industry trends, customer behaviour, and technological developments within fire safety, automotive, and environmental sectors.
* Discover new commercial opportunities and evaluate the potential of new ideas.
* Conduct field research and client visits to gather first-hand insights from users and partners.
* Translate research findings into strategic recommendations that guide design and development.
* Partner with sales, marketing, and design to develop data-backed business cases for new initiatives.
* Analyse the success of recently launched products and adjust focus based on performance metrics.
* Keep ahead of global changes in market demand, regulation, and technology.
Required skills and experience
* Strong background in strategic and applied market research and product development, within a manufacturing or industrial environment. A minimum of two years’ experience.
* Proven ability to collect, interpret, and present data that drives commercial decision-making.
* A deep understanding of how market insight connects to product design, innovation, and go-to-market planning.
* Excellent analytical skills — confident working with complex data and identifying meaningful trends.
* Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple workstreams and coordinating across teams.
* A naturally curious and innovative mindset, always exploring new methodologies and emerging technologies.
