Job title: Assistant Football Coach (16–18) – Half-Term Football Camp

Schedule: Typically 9:00am–3:00pm (6 hours)
Pay (based on National Minimum Wage, 6 hours paid):
This is a great opportunity for young people (16–20) who love football and want hands-on experience in coaching. You'll support Lead Coaches by helping deliver activities, managing small groups and keeping sessions fun, safe and organised.
Key responsibilities
* Support set-up and organisation of stations (cones, bibs, balls, goals).
* Help run warm-ups, skills practices and small-sided games using instructions from the Lead Coach.
* Supervise small groups during drills and challenges; encourage effort, teamwork and good behaviour.
* Help maintain safe transitions (water breaks, lunch, moving between activities).
* Be a positive role model: enthusiastic, professional and encouraging.
* Follow safeguarding rules and report concerns to the Lead Coach immediately.
Essential requirements
* A genuine interest in football and working with children.
* Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
* Confident speaking to children and supporting group activities.
* Willingness to follow safeguarding procedures and codes of conduct.
* Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
* Sports Leader qualification / volunteering at a club/school.
* First aid or safeguarding awareness (training can be supported).
