An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading independent insurance broking and risk management companies based in Bradford.
They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their recently established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.
Main duties will include:
* Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
* Handle premiums up to c£20,000
* Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
* Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
* Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships
* Broking risks for new business and renewals
* Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
* Working closely with the Corporate Broking team
* Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis
