About the Job Reporting to the Finance Director this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties Reconcile weekly cash and till reports and prepare management summaries Manage purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing Post invoices to Sage 50 and support VAT and HMRC reporting requirements Reconcile multiple bank accounts Prepare and process monthly supplier payment runs Maintain and update employee records Process new starters and leavers, including relevant documentation Monitor time and attendance records and resolve discrepancies Update payroll for overtime, bonuses, pensions, benefits, and ad hoc payments Calculate statutory payments including sick pay and maternity pay Respond to employee payroll queries Provide general ad hoc support to the finance and payroll function Your skills & experience Experience working in an Accounts or Admin Role in a busy office environment (Desirable) Payroll experience (Desirable) Currently Studying towards professional qualification such as IATI or early stage of ACCA or CIMA Experience Using Sage (Desirable) For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence.
