CNC - Wood Machinist Role Summary Responsible for producing high-quality joinery components to client specifications within a modern workshop environment, ensuring excellent finish, accuracy, and full compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Machine and finish joinery items accurately to drawings and specifications Interpret working drawings and mark out components independently Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and health & safety Operate a range of wood machining equipment efficiently Support company quality and environmental standards (ISO, FSC, Investors in People) Carry out additional duties as required to support production Working Hours MondayThursday: 8:00am5:00pm Friday: 8:00am1:00pm Person Specification NVQ Level 3 in Wood Machining (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years relevant experience Strong knowledge of wood machining equipment Good time management, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and flexibly, including overtime when required Skills: CNC operation Milling Spindles Lathe CNC Machines CNC Mill Operations Benefits: Pension Fund
