Job Title: Transport Planner Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Location: Birmingham Integral Staff are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics company based in Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their dynamic operations team. About the Role: As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of a fleet of 1520 trucks. You will be responsible for organising daily routes, managing driver schedules, and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Plan, allocate, and monitor daily transport operations for a fleet of 1520 vehicles Liaise with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations Maintain accurate records of routes, delivery times, and vehicle performance Ensure compliance with all health & safety and transport regulations React efficiently to any changes or challenges in the daily transport schedule Provide excellent communication and coordination across departments Working Hours: Monday to Friday 1:00pm 10:00pm 45 hours per week The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance standards Proficient in using transport planning software and Microsoft Office Whats on Offer: Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Friendly, supportive working environment Opportunity to work with a reputable and growing logistics company Career development and training opportunities If youre an organised, driven individual looking to take the next step in your transport career, Integral Staff would love to hear from you.
