Do you have the empathy, resilience, and drive to make a real difference in students’ lives? If so, this is your opportunity to join a dedicated and caring team at Cottenham Village College. We are looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to provide high-quality pastoral and administrative support to students across a key stage. You will work closely with the Key Stage Progress Leader and Heads of Year to ensure students are safe, supported, and meeting the college’s high expectations. This is a vital role in the day-to-day life of the school—ideal for someone who is calm, compassionate, and committed to helping every student thrive. Key Responsibilities Support students through praise, emotional support, and positive relationships. Manage day-to-day behaviour incidents in line with the school’s behaviour policy. Monitor students on pastoral reports and support their progress. Arrange and attend parent meetings to discuss student wellbeing and behaviour. Provide high-quality administrative support, including exclusion paperwork and parent communications. Liaise with families and external agencies to ensure joined-up support for students.
