Fire Engineer - Midlands Based (Partially Remote)

Our client is a highly respected international consultancy with over 25 years of experience and a strong worldwide presence. Due to continued success and growth, they are seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join their team, focusing on fire safety upgrades and remedial works within commercial refurbishment projects across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied and impactful projects, ensuring the highest standards of fire safety for retail clients. While this role offers a partially remote working arrangement, ideal candidates will be based in the Midlands to minimise travel distances to sites nationwide.
The Role:
Conducting fire safety assessments and surveys on commercial refurbishment projects
Developing and implementing fire safety strategies and solutions.
Designing and reviewing fire protection systems.
Providing expert advice on fire safety regulations and compliance.
Managing and overseeing fire safety upgrades and remedial works.
Collaborating with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards of fire safety and within agreed timescales.What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Fire Engineer, ideally with exposure to commercial refurbishment projects.
A deep understanding of fire safety principles, regulations, and relevant British Standards.
Relevant fire qualifications (e.g., FDIS, IFE membership, or equivalent).
Proven experience in designing and implementing fire safety solutions.
Ability to travel nationally to various project sites as required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong client relationships.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Whats in it for you?
