Education, Early Years & Skills Educational and Child Psychology Service Ref: 000815 Contract: Casual Salary: Daily Rate 500 Hours: Casual Based: n/a Closing Date : Monday 30th June 2026 Shortlisting & Interview: n/a Role Overview: You will support the Educational Psychology Service in delivering its statutory duties to schools by providing quality psychological advice for EHCNAs. This will include working with Oldham s newest template informed by the Change Partnership Programme and interacting with the EHC Hub which provides a quick and easy way to access all information and submit your advice. You will be supported with quality assurance and also have the opportunity to attend CPD sessions with the service relating to the provision of quality psychological advice. You will have access to resources to support outcome writing, as well as an inclusion framework which provides a clear overview of provision expected in Oldham mainstream schools at universal and SEND support levels. Importantly you will have the opportunity to work in a way which values the unique contribution of the EP and ensures that the integrity to make professional judgements about your work is at the heart of how you work. Key Requirements: To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum: To have followed a recognised path to qualify as an Educational Psychologist. Be HCPC registered, including provision for supervision and CPD Have practised with a Local Authority as a qualified EP for a minimum of three years. Have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; and a trusted record of good timeliness.
