Shift arefrom 8am to 4pm. There also be will be some evening and Sunday work too when we have events.Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all caf, restaurant, and hospitality services across the campus Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and legislative standards Manage budgets, purchasing, and cost control to maximise efficiency Plan and deliver internal and external events, including quotations and logistics Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to meet service needs Supervise, motivate, and develop a high-performing team Maintain excellent customer service standards through visible leadership Manage cash handling and financial procedures in line with policy Complete administrative tasks including records, rotas, and reporting Represent the service at meetings and contribute to continuous improvementAbout YouWere looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and thrives in a people-focused environment.You will bring: Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar leadership role Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate teams Solid understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards Good IT skills (Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience working in a multicultural environment A flexible approach, including availability for events and weekendsPersonal Qualities Approachable and engaging Organised and detail-focused Confident and outgoing comfortable being the face of the caf Intuitive with a strong customer-first mindsetWhat We Offer A supportive and inclusive working environment Opportunities for training and development (including NVQ pathways) The chance to work in a meaningful role making a real difference Sociable working environment within a respected organisation
