What you will do:
* Support the Team Manager in delivering the Signs of Safety approach, ensuring a high‑quality service to children and families.
* Oversee a sub‑Team, focusing on staff development, supervision, and high‑risk Strategy Meetings on a rotational basis.
* Assist in “Ragging” referrals, allocations, and authorising Social Worker’s assessments, maintaining high standards in service delivery.
* Collaborate with MASH Partner Agencies, fostering positive, professional relationships that enhance service outcomes.
* Contribute to service development and participate in Task Force Groups, navigating the fast‑paced environment of MASH.
* Maintain safeguarding as a priority, working under pressure to meet critical deadlines and ensure timely progression to appropriate services.
* Be office‑based on a rota basis, supporting the Team Manager and reinforcing team collaboration and success.
Additional Information:
This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Safeguarding and Child Protection are top priorities for the Council. Candidates must be registered with Social Care Wales.
