About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout the day. Your responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor will include: Supervising lessons across a range of subjects in line with the school’s policies. Managing student behaviour to maintain a calm and positive learning environment. Encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning and conduct. Recording attendance and ensuring completed work is collected and returned to the appropriate teacher. Promoting inclusion, safeguarding, and respect across all areas of school life. About You This role would suit someone with: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in managing groups of young people. A calm, adaptable, and professional approach. Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
