We are recruiting for an Accounts Junior to join a dynamic firm of accountants to be based at the firm’s office on the outskirts of Maidenhead. This is a good all-round accounting position that will support the seniors who are under pressure because of the continued growth of the business.
With a full study package, if desired, and mentoring, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a full range of accounting skills and progress within the firm. In the future, you could be involved with statutory accounts, audit and tax work as your skills develop.
As Accounts Junior, in time and with training, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the team in proving a full range of accounting services to clients
* Bookkeeping
* Management accounts preparation
* VAT and Tax work including P11Ds
* Ad hoc duties as required
We welcome applications from candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Ideally have at least six months experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
* Ideally have started studying for an accountancy qualification, although not essential
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Be IT literate and ideally have some experience of QuickBooks, Sage and/or Xero
* Have a willingness to learn and develop an accountancy career within practice
