A welcoming and inclusive 11–18 school in Belper is looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join its SEND department from January 2026.

The Role
You’ll work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support students with a range of learning needs. This role involves both one-to-one and small-group interventions, helping young people to achieve academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support for students with additional learning needs
* Implement EHCP and classroom strategies in collaboration with staff
* Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships
* Contribute to progress tracking and communication with parents/carers
About You
* Previous experience supporting students with SEND is desirable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Empathy, patience and adaptability in supporting diverse needs
