Job Description:
This role involves working within a collaborative team environment in the Private Client Tax Services at S&W, based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will manage client portfolios, oversee work delivery, liaise with other service lines, and develop junior staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing client portfolios and reviewing junior staff work
* Delivering work within agreed timelines and budgets
* Collaborating with other departments such as Accounts & Corporate Tax
* Monitoring WIP and drafting fee notes
* Maintaining client relationships and supporting business development
* Mentoring and developing junior team members
Qualifications:
* Significant experience in a professional services firm with a focus on private client tax issues, including complex capital gains and inheritance tax matters
* Strong technical knowledge and client communication skills
* Ability to consider the client's overall financial landscape
* Experience in tax planning, advisory projects, and compliance management
* People management and organizational skills
* Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser (ACA / CTA)
