Customer Services and Sales Administrator
We are working with an established, growing business based in Telford that is looking to recruit a Customer Services and Sales Administrator to join their team. You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support, helping ensure company targets and objectives are met. Our client values responsibility and quality in work, acting in the best interests of colleagues and the company at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, be a good team player with a positive outlook, conscientious with attention to detail, and willing to learn new skills through training. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the confidence to liaise directly with stakeholders and suppliers. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Answer customer emails and monitor the sales inbox
* Organise transport within the UK and abroad
* Respond to customer queries promptly
* Enter sales orders and customer information into the CRM system
* Produce order acknowledgements
* Update the Telford & EMEA sales dashboard
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Show willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
* Perform your role to the best of your abilities and seek guidance when needed
* Attend meetings and take notes as required
* Respond promptly to customer queries received via email and phone
* Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by management
Skills and Experience
* Work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient business operations
* Proactively build and maintain positive customer relationships
* Plan and manage your workload effectively
* Collaborate with colleagues in the US
* Enter sales orders and customer data into CRM and produce acknowledgements
* Maintain confidentiality always
* Show willingness to learn and undertake training
* Perform your role to the best of your abilities and ask for help when needed
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone
* Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by management
