About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Health care Trainer to deliver training to our care staff. You will be responsible for designing and delivering training, supporting compliance, contributing to continuous improvement plans, and the overall business objectives.
Salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. Working hours are 40 hours per week.
You will provide high-quality training for new care professionals, ensuring they attain the necessary competence and skills for their roles. You will train staff for the largest Domiciliary care company in the Northwest, with opportunities for career advancement as the company expands.
Responsibilities include:
* Utilising various training methodologies to ensure effectiveness
* Planning and facilitating weekly induction programs for new staff
* Preparing and maintaining up-to-date course materials in line with legislation and best practices
* Delivering refresher training as needed
* Engaging staff through face-to-face, remote, and online training methods
* Mentoring staff to support retention and development
Qualifications and experience required:
* Experience in delivering training within the Health & Social Care sector
* Knowledge of adult social care and related qualifications
* Understanding of CQC standards in social care
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or equivalent
* Experience in coordinating training for diverse groups
Skills required:
* Excellent organisational, communication, and numeracy skills
* Ability to multitask and work independently
* Full Driving Licence
