We are searching for a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant who holds:
* Hold a 2:1 or higher degree in a Science subject from a Russell Group or other leading UK university (Essential)
* Have a strong academic record, including excellent GCSE and A-Level results (Essential)
* Possess experience in educational settings, such as tutoring, mentoring, or classroom assistance (Desirable)
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Essential)
* Exhibit confidence in behaviour management and the ability to engage students effectively (Desirable)
* Show a genuine interest in pursuing a teaching career, with a commitment to professional growth (Desirable)
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant: About the role
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:
* Classroom Support: Assisting teachers during lessons by supporting students' understanding and engagement, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment
* Small Group and One-to-One Sessions: Providing targeted support to students, including those who are high-achieving and those who need additional help, to reinforce learning objectives
* Behaviour Management: Implementing effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and address any challenges, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere
* Student Progress Monitoring: Observing and reporting on student performance, contributing to assessments and the identification of areas for improvement
