This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, part-time basis, working Wednesday (all day), Thursday (all day), and Friday (morning only. Who are Novus? Site Information HMP Frankland is a Category A men's prison located in the village of Brasside in County Durham, England. Frankland is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service, and is located next to HM Prison Low Newton, a closed women's prison. Though traditionally holding men serving morea than four years, since 2005 Frankland has also taken category A remand prisoners. In 2019, it was designated as a prison with a training function. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to: Hold or be willing to gain qualifications at level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy within agreed timescales. Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or Business Administration or relevant industrial experience and skills. Demonstrate effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment. Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems. Demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills.
