Main duties of the job
Main duties include: Preparing procedure specific surgical kits guided by pick list/kardex. Ensure Integrity and completeness of products and instrumentation in a timely manner. Liaise directly with clinical staff and materials management team and CSSD when required. Remove any used kitting hardware and highlight products that are low in stock/unavailable as necessary. Work in a flexible way adapting to workload and demands. Liaises with internal personnel and external partners/suppliers on loan deliveries/returns Assist the supplies team and CSSD as required. To communicate and assist al staff professionally to deliver the high standards of service required. The post holder is expected to be courteous and helpful to all patients and visitors in the execution of duties. To carry out any other duties as directed.
