Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team on behalf of a prestigious private aviation company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the fleet, conducting scheduled maintenance, and addressing unscheduled repairs. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence and safety standards in private aviation. Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Certification: Perform and certify line and base maintenance according to Part 145 and company procedures. Provide hands-on maintenance support, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Team Leadership and Guidance: Oversee and guide Mechanics and non-certifying Engineers, supervising work to meet compliance and performance targets. Act as a mentor to promote professional development.
* Customer and Crew Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for customer or crew inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication. Collaborate with clients to meet service expectations.
* Compliance and Documentation: Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records.
* Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Address technical issues promptly, minimize delays, and ensure operational efficiency. Demonstrate proactive decision-making for aircraft safety and performance.
Essential Qualifications
Please note: You must hold at least one of the following type ratings. Ideally, you will have two:
* Full UK Part-66 B1/B2 License (please include a copy with your CV)
* Type rating(s) on Bombardier Challenger and/or Global Series
* Up-to-date Human Factors training and recent certification experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK (sponsorship available for non-UK/EU candidates)
* EASA Licensed engineers should have both Ratings: Global and Challenger. CAA License one is sufficient, but both are preferable.
