Overview
We're looking for a motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Fisherman's Rest. This role is about more than cooking – you'll manage people, stock, menus, and ensure a smooth, professional service that keeps our guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team.
* Create rotas, approve leave, and manage daily operations.
* Order stock, control costs, and reduce waste.
* Develop menus, including seasonal specials.
* Work closely with Front of House and site management to deliver great service and events.
* Support promotions and offers, including on social media.
* Uphold high standards and a positive, professional workplace.
About You:
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Organised, reliable, and hands-on.
* Experience in managing a kitchen team and stock control.
* Able to work evenings and weekends
You'll also play a part in wider site events and step in where needed to support the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
