IRecruitment are working alongside one of our clients in Winsford and are seeking a counterbalance FLT driver to join their existing team. You will be responsible for the movement of items round the site, there will also be an element of packing and palletising involved when not driving the truck - it is around 50/50 split or manual labour and truck driving. Although you will be working as part of a team you have the responsibility to ensure that you are fully compliant with all health and safety procedures especially when you are driving the truck around the yard, making sure that you are being vigilant with regards to others on the yard. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, paying £13 per hour on a temp to perm basis. On occasion you may be asked to cover absence or holidays by working either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shift, however this would be paid at a higher rate. Due to the nature of the role you will require a valid FLT license, issued by an ITSAR or RTITB training body.
