Buckand Newton Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Leader to manage the day to day running of our childcare provision. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a school within a Trust with great potential, some real strengths and the ability and desire to develop further.
Fixed-Term until 31.08.2026, 12.5 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year (term time plus 2 inset days)
Grade 7, Point 8: £7,437 per annum
Interview Date: 1st July 2025
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging activities
* Ensure a safe, caring, and fun environment at all times
* Lead and support a small team of childcare staff
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
* Manage bookings, registers, and daily routines efficiently
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have experience working with primary-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Be reliable, friendly, and proactive
* Be committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment
