As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting a senior engineer (power systems) to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester office.
We are looking for the following :
* a good degree in Power Systems Engineering
* a deep understanding of power systems and their design. Analysis of transients, load flow, harmonics and stability;
* significant experience, post-qualification, in power engineering and analysis within a consultancy, industrial, utility or equipment manufacturer organisation.
* competent in the use of modelling software such as Power Factory, ETAP, IPSA or Dig-silent ;
* experience with the undertaking of feasibility studies and detailed design reviews;
* full driving licence - able to travel in the UK and occasionally, for short durations, the EU.
* living in the greater Manchester area, or willing to relocate.
* full right to work in the UK.
