About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced *Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA / Estimator)* to join one of the South East’s leading accident repair groups. Based at a modern, manufacturer-approved bodyshop in Shepperton, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that values quality, teamwork, and employee wellbeing.
You will play a key role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from inspection to handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce detailed repair estimates
* Identify required repairs and parts using strong mechanical knowledge
* Ensure repairs meet NVQ standards and internal quality controls
* Liaise with customers, insurers, and workshop teams professionally
* Manage customer handovers efficiently and accurately
* Upsell additional services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction
* Maintain high attention to detail across all assessments
Requirements
* Minimum *3 years’ experience* in a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator role
* ATA or NVQ qualification *desirable but not essential*
* Strong technical and mechanical understanding of vehicle repairs
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced bodyshop environment

This BS10125-certified bodyshop is manufacturer approved for *Ford, Nissan, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Vauxhall, Chrysler, Peugeot, Citroën, Hyundai, and Suzuki*.
