Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a Head of Global Product Management to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this role, you will lead the commercial success and lifecycle of our global products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and experience progressing to senior leadership in a complex global environment. You will engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across multiple regions.
As the voice of the customer, you will develop and drive global product and service strategies, champion customer needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide. Your goal will be to ensure our offerings succeed in key markets while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
This role requires technical expertise, commercial insight, and strong global leadership skills to grow and influence teams across diverse geographies.
What You'll Do:
* Define and implement the global product and service strategy for the X-ray business to drive growth and competitive edge.
* Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitors to guide product direction worldwide.
* Act as the customer advocate to influence product decisions and priorities.
* Manage the entire product lifecycle from idea to launch, through growth, maturity, and retirement.
* Ensure product design, manufacturing, service, and compliance meet business goals.
* Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance.
* Align and influence cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, service, supply chain, quality, and sales.
* Lead the creation and execution of product roadmaps.
* Use engineering expertise to support technical decisions and solve problems.
* Collaborate with engineering teams on requirements, design reviews, and manufacturability.
* Provide hands-on support for complex technical issues.
* Lead and grow the product management team, fostering a customer-focused culture.
* Identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
What You Need to Succeed
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
* Strong customer focus, curiosity and growth mindset.
* Significant experience in product and service management, product development, or a senior technical leadership role.
* Strong global experience, ability to work across geographies with proven success influencing across functions and operating effectively at all organisational levels.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* High integrity and commitment to quality.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
* Willingness to work onsite in Royston majority of the time.
