Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and maintain systems, processes, and controls that support the bank account structure and daily cash operations.
2. Monitor financial counterparty risk, provide required reports, and escalate concerns promptly.
3. Perform daily cash reconciliations within the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring balances match uploaded bank statements.
4. Prepare, validate, and distribute daily cash dealing positions in collaboration with Front Office teams and the Cash Manager to ensure approved treasury transactions are executed.
5. Upload and track BACS payment files through the third-party gateway.
6. Set up and monitor intercompany recharges and dividend payments, including those related to tax, payroll, and healthcare.
7. Respond to internal and external audit queries regarding payments, cash management, and treasury controls.
8. Assist with annual reviews and updates of treasury policies and related documentation.
Desired skills
9. Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
10. Strong IT skills and an eagerness to learn new systems.
11. Ability to clearly communicate treasury information to senior managers outside the Treasury function.
12. Skilled at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines for time-sensitive tasks.
13. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills.
14. Confidence in managing relationships with external stakeholders.
