We are a Dietetic Department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire based just under 10 minutes from the M69/M6 interchange. We are a department of nearly seventy Dietitians (across Coventry and Rugby Hospitals) specializing in gastroenterology, critical care, surgery, stroke, major trauma, oncology, renal, diabetes, specialist weight management, paediatrics and community nutrition support. We also provide student placements to neighbouring universities in Coventry and Birmingham. Our department actively engages in research and audit and encourages staff to pursue relevant courses for their role and future development.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to become part of our acute team to support our specialist Dietitians working in stroke, neurology, major trauma and surgery as well as offering operational oversight for the team. You will work alongside our new Urgent Care Dietitian.
Responsibilities
* Carry out dietetic assessment appropriate to role and experience, provide nutritional diagnosis and provide a dietetic treatment plan for patients / clients.
* Hold responsibility for own patient caseload including patients with complex presentations.
* Maintain clinical records in line with local / Trust documentation guidelines.
* Liaise with dietetic colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team as necessary (e.g., medical, nursing, catering and other health care professionals).
