About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working as part of a multi‑agency team in a fast‑paced environment to join the team as a Community Care Officer. You will join a friendly and established team whose emphasis is on ‘making safeguarding personal’ and delivering a proportionate response to concerns raised about adults at risk. The team works with adults aged 18 and above across all areas, specialising in undertaking adult safeguarding duties in line with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
Requirements & Qualifications
* 2 years’ experience of working with adults
* Experience of operating as part of a team
* The ability to work on your own initiative whilst working closely with colleagues, partner agencies and community teams
* Experience of working at pace and dealing with multiple demands
* Evidence of your ability to gather appropriate and proportionate information
* Evidence of your understanding of risk and impact and implications of risk
* Effective communication, organisational and IT skills are essential
