Job Overview
Management of Supplier Performance to ensure smooth flow of capable parts to specification into NCRA plants & repair locations. This position reports directly to the Supplier Quality Manager and requires technical expertise in manufacturing mechanical components. The role interfaces with NCRA sourcing, engineering, NPI, Manufacturing Quality, PPAP and other key functions to ensure that the supplier and relevant internal teams are advised on the right actions from data collected so that the correct decisions can be made and planned.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for supplier parts quality performance of all assigned suppliers
* Timely resolution of parts quality issues reported in the NCRA supply chain
* Effective & active engagement in DFM manufacturing feasibility reviews during new parts development and drive proactive actions
* Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken timely to address part quality issues identified and ensure timely closure of 8D
* Conduct supplier assessments per plan and reporting
* Plan and conduct supplier performance review meetings & represent supplier quality team in internal meetings & global calls
* Maintain & govern supplier performance metrics data
* Support strategic projects related to supplier quality & other cross‑functional projects
* Supplier training on key NCRA supplier quality processes
* Drive supplier for continuous improvement
Qualifications
* College degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
* 2+ years of industry experience in supplier quality assurance or supplier development environment
* Good knowledge and experience in applying statistical tools
* Experience in using 8D, PPAP & quality problem‑solving tools
* Strong English communication skills both oral and written
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Good knowledge of surface treatment and metal finishing processes would be an advantage
